President of Brown Agency, Justin Brown, managed to complete college by working at a modeling agency as a model. He participated in fit modeling, where well-fitting clothes would be designed by Lucky Brand for his body type. He used to showcase skinny jeans, which were referred to as rocker jeans at that time. He could make a significant $100 for every hour he modeled. In college, he studied business management. However, his interest was in the scenes behind the cameras at the agency. After moving from one department to the other, he landed in the department of placement and development. Here, he coached the models to work as professionals.

Mr. Brown, alongside his staff of seven, nurtures the careers of their employees in the agency. They are located on Guadalupe Street, right on top of the Zen Fast Food. He was born in Reno and raised in Susanville, California. Once he turned 18, he moved to Southern California where he engaged himself in the modeling business. In 2005, he relocated to Austin as he felt strongly connected to the area. He states that he could do what he loved in the city that he wanted to reside in and settle!

According to Market Wired, he immediately began a development business, where he could pay agencies for training. He acquired more experience in Los Angeles and New York, which meant that he could grow talent in a higher number of agencies in the coastal regions. In 2008, he founded the JB Models and Talent, which was later licensed by the Wilhelmina national agency. Mr. Brown had acquired a significant amount of resources to facilitate commercials, runway shows on fashion, and also prints. He is constantly hired in Houston and Dallas, as the agencies cut is 10 percent for amalgamation jobs, 15 percent for non-union television, commercial, video or film gigs, and a significant 20 percent on modeling affairs.

In Austin, the market demands a cooler vibe which entails tattoos, piercings, and funky hair. However, the industry in Dallas is a bit more conservative. Brown Agency says that the exciting part about Austin is with his final entrepreneur acquisition. He continues to say that as Austin is taking off, people are getting involved in campaigns that are nationally based. They hire locally but are identified nationally.

The agencies models are being hired to advertise some of the most identified brands globally. These include Toyota, Louis Vuitton, Loreal, Dell, and many other big companies. The models are also featured in different runways such as the Dallas Fashion Week, Miami Swim Week, Austin Fashion Week, and New York Fashion Week, among others. The agencies objective has always been to select the very best models, nurture them, and ensure that they deliver professionally and elegantly, as expected.
